“Annie” The Musical

Creation, photo production and pagination of the musical program “Annie”. The program gives a description of the musical, its actors, dancers, musicians and actors of this new show of Filipe La Féria, on Teatro Rivoli stage (Porto).

“Annie”, the hugely successful musical on Broadway and West End in London.
The story of “Annie” was based on one of the most popular comic strips “Little Orphan Annie” (Annie, the little orphan) that has conquered generations of readers and that when it was passed to musical it sold out for years and years the stages of the most important cities of the world.

Filipe La Féria was awarded several times by the critics, Casa da Imprensa, State Secretary of Culture and several magazines as author, director and set designer. On the tenth anniversary of April 25, the Portuguese Critics Association awards him one of the most outstanding personalities in the Theater.

He was decorated Commander with the Grand Order of Prince Henry, by his Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Mario Soares. He was honored as a personality of the Year, in the Theater area, at the Golden Globes 2000.

In 2002 he staged the musical of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe, My Fair Lady, adapted from Bernard Shaw, Golden Globe Award-winning show for Best Show of the Year.

Throughout his career he was already a big winner and in 2000 he received the Golden Globe of Personality of the Year. In 2007 and 2008 he won the Golden Globe for Best Director and Best Performance, with respectively “Musica no Coração” and “West Side Story “.
